Internet Explorer 9 is the last version of Internet Explorer to support Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2, Windows 7 below SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 below SP1 as the following version, Internet Explorer 10 will only support Windows 7 SP1 or later and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 or later. Windows XP and earlier are not supported. The system requirements for Internet Explorer 9 are Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista Service Pack 2 or Windows Server 2008 SP2 with the Platform Update.
